Thankfulness Betwixt Adversity

While Barry Soetoro continues to play golf 5 hours a day as "Rome burns", Napolitano continues to peddle "homegrown terrorism" as the next bogeyman, the FCC continues it's move towards regulating the Internet to silence all of us Constitutional bloggers and NASA is warning of impending doom from solar flares, I am enjoying a quiet day in the garden and continuing to plod along in preparation for "whatever" disaster the elitists may construct.
I am thankful for so many things. My family and my friends are what is important. They constantly challenge me to continue with all of our preparations and not give in to grief, worry or overwhelming sadness at what is going on in our country and our world.
Impending and looming war with Iran does not hinder my celebrating Fathers day with a homemade chocolate cake, from scratch, for a wonderful husband and father. Adversity from every direction only seems to highlight the beauty of what we all striving to preserve.
I wish you all a beautiful fathers day and summer solstice. Remember to take time to love and appreciate the things you are fighting for.

Debtors prison, Unemployment and the Agenda

As our economy sinks farther into the sewer and people are losing their jobs at record rates the best that our government and country can do for us is reinstate debtors prisons. I have seen article after article about folks getting thrown in prison for their inability to pay their bills. By 1833 America had abolished all debtors prisons but in the face of economic collapse and a depression which will be worse than the last one, it seems to be back in favor. A recent article in the Star Tribune in Minnesota titled, “In jail for being in debt,” exposes the growing number of citizens going to jail at the behest of banks and a welcoming judicial system. They write:
“It’s not a crime to owe money, and debtors’ prisons were abolished in the United States in the 19th century. But people are routinely being thrown in jail for failing to pay debts. In Minnesota, which has some of the most creditor-friendly laws in the country, the use of arrest warrants against debtors has jumped 60 percent over the past four years, with 845 cases in 2009, a Star Tribune analysis of state court data has found.” The Constitution explicitly prohibits incarceration for failure to pay debts. However, the way the states are getting around this is by having a judge issue a court order to pay the debt. If this order is ignored, it then qualifies as a civil contempt of court. At which point, the judge becomes a literal dictator with the ability to imprison a person indefinitely for the violation.

So you are out of work, out of unemployment benefits, can't pay your bills and then you find out that employers are refusing to look at you application because you are out work. And to add even more burden to your shoulders, Barry Soetoro plans to go ahead with his cap and trade legislation which will put even more pressure on your already empty wallet and tax every facet of your life. I know a lot of you readers listen to Alex Jones. I do. I need to say that his dismissal of the enormity of this devastation on the gulf is puzzling and disturbing. He keeps saying that its a distraction. I partly agree. The media whores are doing their part to feed the voyeur, soap opera addiction of the common viewer. However, it is also true that this is so potentially devastating that it could change things drastically for many, many years. Rahm Emannuel said in November 2008, "Never let a serious crisis go to waste, it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before" and they will obviously use this disaster to further their plans but my question is: why not cover it more and EXPOSE it? If this is just a distraction to keep people from seeing "the man behind the curtain" and the coming war with Iran (or whoever they choose to be the new bogeyman) then surely he could use his 'huge' audience and influence to derail their agenda? Why don't those elected officials call up THEIR STATES National Guard to protect their shores and take control? Because they have been castrated and no one is able to do anything unless they are told to or given the OK by our new lord and dictator BigGov.org
People can't do anything without approval from someone else. They have lost the ability to think rationally and act independently.

Well it just keeps getting stranger and more unbelievable every day. I have been following the disaster on the gulf like everyone else i hope and it confounds me that their is so little info coming out of the area. It amazes me that so many states are so quiet about the larger issue of Health Safety. I have only heard one report by a sister of a friend who lives on the beach of S. Carolina, who has moved inward to the center of Virginia to get away from any possible harm to her family and child. I have searched blog after blog and have found virtually no reports about what is really going on! These findings are terrible!
Health Effects of Hydrogen Sulfide H2S is classed as a chemical asphyxiant, similar to carbon monoxide and cyanide gases. It inhibits cellular respiration and uptake of oxygen, causing biochemical suffocation. Typical exposure symptoms include:
LOW
0 – 10 ppm
Irritation of the eyes, nose and throat
MOD
10 – 50 ppm
Headache Dizziness Nausea and vomiting Coughing and breathing difficulty
HIGH
50 – 200 ppm
Severe respiratory tract irritation Eye irritation/acute conjunctivitis Shock Convulsions Coma Death in severe cases
Prolonged exposures at lower levels can lead to bronchitis, pneumonia, migraine headaches, pulmonary edema, and loss of motor coordination.

On May 3 WWLTV reported that the level of Hydrogen Sulfide was recorded at 1,192 ppb! It kills you at 50-200 ppb!!! Yet it is being tested frequently above 1,000 ppb.
Folks this is just ONE of many poisons coming from the oil and don't forget that COREXIT is a deadly poison being sprayed on not just the oil but the towns as well.
We are being lied to and a lot of those folks down there are going to die from exposure to these chemicals. I have heard reports of fishermen trying to use respirators while on clean up and they have been told by BP if they wear them they will be fired. You see it is a LIABILITY issue if BP admits there is danger...Is feeding the beast worth their lives and the lives of their children and family?
I was a deep sea diver in Alaska during the Exxon Valdez accident in which they used COREXIT. There were more than 7,000 people involved in the cleanup-THEY ALL DIED!!!!
No matter how you look at this disaster it is going to get very bad for a lot of folks.

Troops, Call for Resignation and Disrespectful Irreverent Disregard

It is just astounding to witness and view what is going on these days. How many of you think that this BP fiasco was a deliberate act? Goldman Sachs sold thousands of shares-more than half it's stock-two days before the rig blew up. The chief boss who works on the rig sold a bundle of his shares weeks before.....humm......something just doesn't smell right with this whole thing. And then you have the absolute NEGLECT of the situation. They have done everything they can to hinder the cleanup and containment.
Have you heard the rumors about trying to evacuate the southern coast? Well I have been hearing rumors about this since shortly after the BP rig sank. Nothing was certain, just rumors. Then yesterday I came across this article: Oblivious to Oil in Mississippi, Possible Troops in Louisiana
"On Sunday, the Intel Hub website reported rumors of a federal troop deployment in Louisiana.
Shepard Ambellas, who reported on a mass grave site at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2009, reports possible “battle hardened troops” or National Guard outfitted in full battle gear and body armor have been seen moving into Grand Isle, Louisiana.
Ambellas writes:
As of 12:00 PM CST, possible battle hardened troops or National Guard, in full battle gear and body armor with have been seen moving into the area. Fully armored HUMVEES with 50 Cal active gun turrets are reportedly arriving on scene as well. All troops and vehicles are in woodland patterns.
Black trucks with red letters displaying “Disaster Relief Team” have also arrived. FEMA contractors and mobile facilities are present. The Crisis Management Corp. is reportedly present as well.
Our reporters see no visible sign that the troops are National Guard at this time. They reported the troops looked “battle hardened”.
Ambellas and the Intel Hub believe the deployment is the “first step in a massive coastal evacuation that could potentially disperse 40-50 million people.”

Can you imagine our government trying to evacuate 50 MILLIOM people? What possible reason is there to place military troops in these areas with "fully armored humvees with 50 cal active gun turrets"? These troops are apparently NOT helping with clean up so what are they for? You certainly don't need 50 cal machine guns to help with the clean up!
The article goes on to say: Maryann Tobin, writing for the the Albuquerque Examiner on May 9, stated FEMA “and other government agencies” have prepared to evacuate the Tampa Bay area ahead of a “controlled burn of surface oil in the Gulf of Mexico.” Tobin did not cite sources.
On May 4, up to 17,500 U.S. Army National Guard troops were mobilized by the Pentagon “to help various states with the oil spill,” according to the Associated Press. “Defense Secretary Robert Gates has granted requests to send troops of up to 6,000 by Louisiana, 3,000 by Alabama, 2,500 by Florida and 6,000 by Mississippi.”

So here we have intel about FEMA "and other government agencies" on May 9th "preparing to evacuate the area". It takes time, coordination and lots of pre-planning to coordinate something like this folks! This news is VERY disturbing.....

Enough is Enough. The Obama White House and identifiable Members of Congress are now on a progressive socialist, treasonous death march and are bankrupting and weakening the country. We have watched them violate their sacred oath of office. “We, the People” cannot wait for and solely rely on the next round of elections in November of this year. It is now and each day that these public servants must put the citizen’s interests above self-interest by resigning immediately. Our so-called Representatives and Senators are more interested in party loyalty than performing their duties. So, do not expect them to resign en masse or be impeached. It is the most disgraceful, disrespectful and IN YOUR FACE disregard of us and our country that I've ever seen! Folks, how many of our sons and daughters, aunts and uncles are right now fighting and dieing for our freedoms and our country? And this man stands there, after also becoming the first president to NOT lay a wreath at the grave of the unknown soldier on Memorial day, with no flag, our nations symbol of freedom, liberty and all that makes us the great, just makes me disgusted! Evergreen Air and secret Chemtrail Facility

Don't spray me with chemicals and don't mess with my food! These two things are a growing sore spot with me these days. It boggles my mind when I've met people that are unaware of the chem trails. That they have never taken a moment to notice the lattice work grid being sprayed on them on an almost daily basis. And then when it's pointed out they have the most sickeningly vague look. There eyes go blank, their face goes slack and with some you get that "deer in the headlights" look. I see a sad mixture of denial and fear. Then when you start to give them information on it they either flat out say "that's not true" or they politely listen but you know they will never pursue more information. My other big gripe is GMO and nano foods. These things should NEVER be in our food. They should NEVER be allowed in our country. THEY KILL YOU! They kill you either fast or slow, but you're dead nonetheless. Just unbelievable!

Planting a garden, free e-books and DISCLOSE Act (HR 5175)

Happy Spring to you all. I have been very busy lately building a chicken coop, raising a bunch of baby chicks (for food and eggs) and getting by back yard tilled up, edged, fenced so the dog doesn't trample everything and planted with delicious heirloom vegie seeds. Yumm. I have been BUSY. My neighbors have been giving me some weird looks and make comments like "wow that's a big garden what are you going to put in it"? My first thought is "everything I can"! They are happy to buy a few sickly genetically modified Frankenstein plants and call it good. It is a strange feeling to have your neighbors look at you like you have two heads when all you are doing is planting a garden and raising a few chickens. It is so far from their comfort zone to see something being done that a few years ago everyone did. I have to say that at first I was feeling, honestly, like i was doing something wrong. Breaking free of the social conditioning we all grew up with can be difficult. I had a mantra i found myself repeating as i went about digging and planting--"what i am doing is good, wholesome and normal. what i am doing will feed my family, I do not care how weird they think i am"! Poor things just don't know or care to know the kind of storm that is coming. I will put up some pictures of before and after soon.
Well as we are all aware things are turning sour all over the globe. I hope you are all preppin as fast as possible. It seems the more I do and the more I feel I am prepared the less I feel prepared! Sometimes you have to just stand back and take stock and know that you can't do everything.

I ran across an article yesterday that applies to all of us bloggers and big mouths that just infuriated me. This article is written by Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) on a new bill called DISCLOSE Act (HR 5175), this bill essentially strips you of your first amendment right to free speech unless you are an approved media outlet! So beware-they are comming after the bloggers soon. Seems we are having too much of an impact and we are scaring them!
Bloggers Beware – They’re Coming After You!

Just when you thought it was safe to start expressing your right to free speech, Democrats in Congress are gearing up for a vote on a new piece of legislation to blatantly undermine the First Amendment. Known as the DISCLOSE Act (HR 5175), this bill – written by the head of the Democrats’ congressional campaign committee – is their response to the recent Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. In short, the Supreme Court found that the government could not restrict the free speech rights of individuals or other entities wishing to participate in the political dialogue.
It is hard to see how establishing a level playing field for free speech – as our Founding Fathers did by making it a right under the Constitution and which the Supreme Court upheld – is a threat to our democracy. Nevertheless, the White House and their allies on Capitol Hill see honest criticism as a threat to forcing their big government, liberal agenda through Congress. So, there is no time like the present – namely five months before an election – to start putting the muzzle on those individuals and organizations not sticking to the Democrats’ talking points.
Under the DISCLOSE Act, certain incorporated entities would be restricted in how they can exercise their free speech rights. There is an exemption for some in the media sphere like newspapers, TV news, and the like. However, there is one driving force in today’s public debate that is NOT exempt. Bloggers will not have the same exemption provided to other media sources. Never mind that the Supreme Court’s opinion in the Citizens United case stated, “Differential treatment of media corporations and other corporations cannot be squared with the First Amendment.”
For many bloggers to exercise their free speech rights, they would have to jump through the same onerous new hoops as many businesses, nonprofit groups, and even such threats to democracy as your local chamber of commerce. If this sounds like an absurd overreach by one party in power, I invite you to take a look at their government takeover of health care, taxpayer-funded bailouts, and general hostility to private sector economic growth.
The Obama Administration and Congressional Democrats have not racked up a stellar record of transparency and openness. For a White House that touted its willingness to engage critics openly in hopes of staving off greater partisan rancor, Obama’s team has endorsed backroom deal-making, special giveaways to garner support for their agenda, and a closed-door decision-making process that has the American people more fed up with Washington. Now, under their brand of leadership, they stand ready to stifle free speech via legislative fiat.
Democrats should not be allowed to give themselves carte blanche to shut down the ability of those in the blogosphere or elsewhere to participate in our nation’s collective dialogue. That flies in the face of our most sacred rights as American citizens.

I now own a cow!

I am so happy lately to be able to have fresh, raw milk from both cow and goat coming from a local farmer who loves her cows and chickens. She only feeds them organic food, are minimally vaccinated and wander around freely like they should. They are big, fat, healthy and happy looking animals. I have been buying milk and eggs from her for several months. Around here organic eggs from the grocery store cost more than 5 dollars a dozen and organic milk is more than 5 dollars for a half gallon! YIKES! If you have a family that can be quite a chunk of change in your weekly grocery bill. My family will go through 2 dozen eggs and a couple gallons of milk, easily, each week. Now in comparison I pay this farm $2.50 for a dozen organic eggs that come in a beautiful variety of colors from light pink to blue and green to dark chocolate brown. It's like Easter every Friday when they are delivered. My milk costs $5 dollars for a gallon with the cream still on top. I just love Fridays when our delivery comes. More often than not the eggs and milk are still warm; the eggs having just been gathered and the milk from a recent milking. Oh and the smell and taste of fresh milk is like liquid flowers. So sweet and fresh. I grew up on fresh raw milk and have never been able to drink milk from the store.
If you figure out the math buying 2 dozen eggs and 3 gallons of milk each week from her I am paying only $20 dollars a week from her as opposed to $40 dollars a week from the store-a savings of $20 dollars a week! I actually save even more than that because the cream on the top of the milk I skim off and make butter or sour cream which saves me from having to buy them from the store except for only occasionally.
Well, this wonderful little farm has been left alone until recently when the state I guess finally took notice. They have been told to either jump through hoops and become a "class B" dairy - which means lots of drugs & regulation - or stop selling their milk. So, like many small farms run by people that are educated, aware and care about their animal, their product and NOT pumping them (and us) full of poisons, they found a way to get around the ridiculous regulation.
Since it is not illegal (at least not yet), to drink raw milk from your own cows they have sold shares of their cows to all their customers. I now own a few shares of a cow and instead of paying them for the milk, I pay them for housing and feeding "my" cow. Ya gotta love it!
